About
Me
Hi, my name is Maggie, thank you for visiting my website.
37 years ago, I was the proud owner of a very large, long-haired, German Shepherd dog who developed aggression issues after being attacked by another dog.
I was ridiculed by family and friends for actually seeking help and paying to see a Dog Psychologist. That psychologist changed my life. Dr. Roger Mugford, who is now a renowned, animal psychologist and viewed as Britain's leading animal psychologist, (he has advised Queen Elizabeth on behavioural issues with her Corgis), taught me to change how I view and act towards dogs.

I believe that dog training should always be undertaken using kindness, repetition, and positive reinforcement. Dog training should be a fun experience for you and your dog.
Before attempting to change any unacceptable behaviour, the reason why your dog is acting in a certain way should be investigated. As a dog trainer, I always attempt to see the world through your dog’s mind.
A dog’s body language is an indication of how it is feeling. Many owners misread what their dog is trying to communicate because they have misread its’ body language, which leads to conflict.

It has now become my greatest passion to share everything I have learned with you - I TRAIN YOU TO TRAIN YOUR DOG.
I am fully insured, qualified in Pet First Aid and hold a current Enhanced DBS certificate.

I look forward to working with you.
